- A LOW OR VERY LOW-INCOME RESIDENT (THE WORKER’S INCOME FOR THE PREVIOUS OR ANNUALIZED CALENDAR YEAR IS BELOW THE INCOME LIMIT ESTABLISHED BY HUD); OR
- THE WORKER IS EMPLOYED BY A SECTION 3 BUSINESS CONCERN.
- THE WORKER IS A YOUTHBUILD PARTICIPANT.
Construction Superintendent:

Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Construction Superintendent: 10 years’ experience as a construction superintendent (Drainage, Paving: Asphalt & Concrete, Site Work, and Hwy/Street/Road). (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Plan, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goals.
- Oversee the operations of construction projects from planning to completion.
- Willing to travel when/as needed.
- Direct Supervisor of Foreman, Subcontractors and all other Field employees.
- Read plans, set elevations, operate equipment/trucks and train field employees, as such.
- Communicate with Project Manager on a regular basis about project status and issues.
- Communicate plans/daily tasks with crew members on a regular basis to ensure success.
- Create and monitor schedules for each employee and ensure that he/she has the physical and mental ability to cope.
- Follow and ensure established safety rules and regulations.
- Schedule, coordinate and lead safety meetings and topics.
- Work in all areas of construction (each Job) as needed to meet production and goals for jobs.
- Ensure accuracy of work orders prior to handing them out and make sure that time efficiency is considered.
- Maintain clean job site daily; through-out the day.
- Review construction documents as needed with designers/owners.
- Ensure that all machinery and tools are available to the crew, and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.
- Perform inspections to ensure that the crew’s performance is up to the set standards.
- Ensure periodic maintenance and proper storage of construction equipment and tools.
